The hottest names in the fashion industry descended to Kazakhstan for the Fashion Gallery Grand Opening. Held in Villa Dei Fiori, in Almaty, the event was attended by international guests, as well as directors and representatives of the world’s biggest luxury brands. Guests were treated to the newly-opened luxury boutiques, which included Tom Ford, Giuseppe Zanotti Design, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent. A spectacular series of events showcasing a combination of art, music and fashion greeted marveled guests.
The Fashion Gallery Grand Opening featured a charity auction, which presented famous fashion brands including Brunello Cucinelli, Chloé and Etro. British singer and DJ Sonique headlined the event, which included the an exhibition of paintings and sculptures from Central Asia.
The Fashion Charity Auction raised an impressive $100 000, with proceeds donated to the fund Dara which seeks to implement projects aimed at helping children’s hospitals and boarding schools for children with disabilities.
The event proved a success with guests taking advantage of the range of fashion boutiques that stayed open until the early hours. Schön! enjoyed the evening complete with live music, from the Almaty Symphony Orchestra and Sonique, best known for her single ‘Feels So Good’.
