Contribution guidelines
We are excited to receive your submissions and pitches for online exclusive features. Feel free to email us with your innovative ideas and samples of your work. We are always on the lookout for new contributors, be it photographers, stylists, or writers. Whether you’re an established professional or a newcomer or a budding talent, if your work resonates with our style and standards, we would be thrilled to hear from you!
When sending in photo shoots, include a diverse range of photographs along with a detailed credit list for all clothing and accessories used. For concept submissions, present visuals and descriptions to articulate your ideas, including suggestions for the potential team and talents, complete with clickable links to their portfolios. Writers are encouraged to submit article samples, especially interviews and features, and propose three story ideas concisely in their pitch.
We are currently open to pitches for online exclusives for Spring Summer 2025.
How to submit
Please submit your work to submissions@schonmagazine.com in the form of unseen and unpublished PDFs or low-resolution JPEGs or preview links – we are unable to download transfers.
Our aim is to respond within 72 hours; however, if your submission does not align with our current needs, we may not be able to provide feedback. If you do not hear from us within a week, it may indicate that your submission may not be the right fit for our publication.
Once approved, we’ll provide you with all the necessary information regarding dimensions and our preferred format and method for receiving final files and credits.
