Showing in Milan, Moncler Gamme Bleu creatively catered to both hemispheres with their Spring 2018 men’s fashion line. Models walked the runway in monochromatic suits, vests, and overcoats surrounded by snow and palm trees. The atmosphere gradually felt warm, as the snow became sand and palm trees emerged from the background. As the weather changed, so did the models shed their heavy layers and reveal summer wear underneath.
Designer Thom Browne further emphasized the duality by pairing many winter looks with shorts, knee high socks, and sandals. The collection mixed solid grays and black with bright red and white checkered prints. It also featured contrasting swim wear and a variety of wool, nylon, cotton and seersucker. Moncler chariman Remo Ruffini sat in the star-studded audience, along with Schön! 32 star Joey Bada$$, who was joined by Machine Gun Kelly and athletes Victor Cruz and Carmen Jordá.
