Casablanca has always had a soft spot for escapism, but for Resort 2026, the fantasy feels a little closer to home. This season, Charaf Tajer turns his gaze to Los Angeles, a city that has long hovered in the brand’s orbit and now feels especially personal following the opening of their first US flagship on Santa Monica Boulevard. 

Photographed by Corentin Leroux, the campaign leans into a much moodier, more intimate side of LA than we’re used to seeing. Using the legendary Sheats-Goldstein Residence as a playground, the John Lautner-designed landmark provides a properly cinematic backdrop, with its sharp modernist lines and dramatic views softened by a very un-Californian bout of rain. The whole atmosphere reminds of a high-end 70s penthouse scene, just without any of the tacky interiors or questionable carpet choices.

British model and actress Iris Law leads the cast, drifting through the house as if caught mid-moment. Law feels like a natural Casablanca muse, embodying a kind of undone nonchalance as she lounges on sofas, snacks in the kitchen and gazes out over the Beverly Hills valley.

The clothes follow suit with a palette of pastels offset by deeper hits of oxblood and royal navy, giving the whole collection a soft but grounded feel. Tailoring and preppy silhouettes are sharpened with monogram trims and bold side stripes, continuing the brand’s long-standing dialogue between sportswear and elegance. It’s a formula Tajer has been perfecting since his early collections, but here it feels more relaxed. Elsewhere, silk shirts carry ombré gradients and surreal orchid motifs – the dreamlike prints that have become a brand signature – recalling earlier seasons where tennis courts and Mediterranean fantasies merged into one.

Knitwear has been refreshed with textured waffle knits and mohair blends, while the denim arrives in pink, psychedelic green and a reverse-colour black monogram that feels playful without tipping into novelty. Footwear grounds the look, with the Del Mar and Stade sneakers returning as familiar anchors for Casablanca’s growing lifestyle universe.

There is a real sense of continuity here. Like previous collections that looked to Monaco or Athens, Resort 2026 captures a location through mood rather than the usual postcard imagery. This time, LA is quieter, more introspective and perhaps more real.

If there’s one brand that knows how to throw a birthday bash, it’s Messika. For its 20th anniversary, the Parisian high jewellery house is inviting us all to a very chic, very purple 1970s house party fronted by legendary supermodel Kate Moss among others.

To cap off a year of celebrations, founder Valérie Messika has turned the festive season into a cinematic nod to the decade that defined her childhood and her family’s diamond legacy. She describes this campaign as a “moment of gratitude,” but for the rest of us, it looks like the ultimate holiday inspiration.

Captured by the brilliant duo of Ezra Petronio and Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the holiday campaign feels intimate, but energetic and undeniably cool. The setting is a dreamscape of a Parisian artist’s apartment, washed in the brand’s signature electric purple.

Moss had previously collaborated on her own High Jewellery line with Messika, so her return here feels like a homecoming. “Kate has always been an inspiration, she is a real muse for me. Her elegance feels instinctive and her spirit is fearless,” says Messika. “She embodies everything I admire in a woman. At this memorable milestone celebrating twenty years of the Maison, reconnecting with Kate and her aura feels essential and meaningful.”

The supermodel indeed anchors the campaign with that trademark insouciance, draped in pieces that feel specially curated for a party context: the Move Link necklace for a bit of composed luminosity and later, the playful D-Vibes collection, where the diamond pompoms act as a cheeky, high-fashion reference to tinsel and baubles.

But a party needs energy, and that’s where the guest list gets really interesting. Joining Moss are model-DJ Georgia Palmer and the ever-charismatic Jordan Barrett. Palmer wears the Imperial Move set, which looks dangerously like crystallised snow, while Barrett grounds the scene with the architectural strength of Move Titanium. There’s a genuine connection between them that you can’t fake, likely because all three share a serendipitous bond: they were each scouted at the tender age of fourteen and have been navigating the industry’s highs ever since.

Messika hasn’t limited the festivities to print, either. If you walk past their boutiques this winter, you’re in for a treat. They’ve commissioned massive, jewel-glazed cakes sculpted in purple and frosted with their iconic Move motifs for the window displays.

To keep things playful, they’ve also teamed up with Space Dawg Studio for a series of 2D cartoon animations that reimagine these luxury goods with a bit of fantasy, turning balloons into jewels and proving that even after two decades, the Maison doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Nude Project is closing out the year with its most confident Playboy chapter yet. Titled ‘The Gift of Playboy,’ the latest collaboration from the Barcelona-born label marks the third time they’ve jumped into bed with the iconic American brand, and the timing couldn’t be better, landing just as Nude Project steps into a massive new phase of its international expansion.

Started back in 2019 by Bruno Casanovas and Alex Benlloch, Nude Project has gone from a little Spanish streetwear start-up to a fully-fledged cultural force. They’re known for their sharp graphics, fantastic community-led approach and an instinctive, almost cheeky understanding of how Gen Z actually shops, dresses and spends their money. Operating under the slogan “By Artists, For Artists,” they’ve always positioned themselves as a creative platform first and a fashion label second.

That clever mindset carries straight through ‘The Gift of Playboy,’ which reworks the familiar Bunny iconography through Nude Project’s own unique urban lens. Following the success of the debut capsule, ‘Heroes of Pleasure’ (2023), and the second release, ‘Playboy Part II’ (2024), both brands have built a shared aesthetic that perfectly balances the editorial with the accessible. This time, the focus is squarely on winter as something lived-in, layered and a little bit chaotic. 

The accompanying campaign, shot by Pepe Herreros, plays out as a mischievous alpine weekend. We see models moving between bracing cold-exposure rituals, outdoor action and the cosy intimacy of a cluttered cabin interior. The traditional Playboy sensuality is there, but it’s totally softened by humour and that sense of familiarity.

The collection features standout pieces that define this urban-winter aesthetic: an example is the technical Mono Ski Playboy suit, engineered for extreme cold but finished with an urban edge. Then, there’s the hugely appealing XXXX Knit Sweatshirt – a fuzzy, relaxed piece featuring the Playboy bunny embroidered large scale on the front.

Elsewhere, for those looking to redefine the après-ski look, the metallic Play Rabbit Puffer paired with micro-print All Over Rabbit Playboy Jeans delivers a playful, editorial look. Meanwhile, the satin Papito Playboy Shirt adds that essential fluid sophistication for a nighttime mood.

The timing, of course, is no accident. Just last Friday, Nude Project unveiled the entire collection publicly in Berlin, coinciding with the opening of its first German flagship store. Located right in the heart of the city, the 137 m² space has been designed as an intimate, nightlife-inflected apartment complete with dark wood, integrated sound, adjustable lighting, a working piano and an arcade machine.
