Moncler Lunettes is rewriting its alpine story, one frame at a time. Blending the spirit of technical mastery with a fearless sense of freedom, the SS25 collection sets the brand’s vision towards the unexpected.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Crans-Montana, Moncler’s first eyewear collection created in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica was revealed in true Moncler style — with a journey through snow-covered peaks and a celebration of innovation and craftsmanship. Guests explored the mountain landscape on scenic snowshoe treks before gathering for a private lunch atop a crystalline plateau, while the slopes came alive at night with a high-energy set by Graziano Della Nebbia at Chetzeron.
The event mirrored the very essence of the collection itself: bold, dynamic, and deeply rooted in Moncler’s alpine heritage. Silhouettes take inspiration from the technical design of performance gear, translating functional elegance into contemporary eyewear. Angular pilot shapes, shield-like frames, and wraparound styles are reimagined with a sleek, modern edge. Frosty metal finishes and mirrored lenses echo icy terrains, while tubular temples — a subtle nod to the quilting of Moncler’s signature jackets — lend an unmistakable touch of the brand’s DNA.
Featherweight Japanese titanium finds its expression in models like the Auros, where alpine influences meet artisanal craftsmanship. Elsewhere, a wrap silhouette with innovative cable temples evokes high-performance design, seamlessly merging form and function in a tribute to the brand’s roots. Even the colour palette tells a story of Moncler’s duality — earthy matte shades, reminiscent of mountain landscapes, contrast with polished metals and rich blues that feel as fresh as a winter sky.
With over 70 years of legacy behind it, Moncler’s design ethos is as much about evolution as it is about artisanship. This collection pushes the boundaries of technical eyewear, offering pieces that feel timeless yet built for those who embrace the spirit of the outdoors — wherever their adventure leads.
