Take a trip with us to Bodrum, Turkey for Les Benjamins’ new Resort 2021 collection. Offering a refined, urban-inspired take on vacation wear, the new pieces from the label weave together stories of Turkey, the seaside and so much more.

Much of the label’s inspiration for this series can be traced back to Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı. A well-known storyteller, the Turkish writer became famous not only for his short stories and novels, but also for his observations about travel. As the writer was exiled to Bodrum, travelling throughout the region became a way to keep his mind occupied — and in the process, discover the rich, natural beauty of Turkey. The Les Benjamins Resort 2021 collection takes his observations and transforms them into beautiful works, each one celebrating another part of designer Bünyamin Aydin’s Turkish homeland.

Symbols from the region are incorporated into many of the designs, ranging from representations of the Bougainvillea flower in its graphics to the deep Aegean blue hues that can be found throughout the collection. Together, these elements create a delightfully summer-influenced series that will elevate any wardrobe.

Featured in this collection are oversized t-shirts, short sleeved shirts, beach dresses and skirts, shorts and swimwear, with each piece rich in patterns and out-of-the-box prints. Its offerings of colours are equally diverse: off-white and eggshell to bright pinks, yellows and blues, all conjuring images of the Turkish countryside. As with other pieces from Les Benjamins, every item from the Resort 2021 collection is made to an exquisite standard that can be felt in each piece.
