Even though the year has just started, Longchamp is already riding a sun-drenched swell with its Spring/Summer 2026 ‘Catch the Parisian Wave’ collection. First teased on the runway last October, the collection effectively treats the surfboard as a legitimate urban accessory, leaning into a high-energy lifestyle that feels just as at home on a Biarritz boardwalk as it does on the Metro.
The iconography itself has undergone a seaside transformation, with the classic racehorse now appearing as a pop-style crest riding a literal wave, a motif that spills over onto faded denim jackets with wave embroidery and flowing dresses covered in overlapping surfboard prints.
The heart of the season lies in a long-standing partnership with ANAKA, a non-profit organisation that empowers female artisans in Madagascar. This collaboration has produced the new Le Roseau Raphia Shopper, a hand-woven piece with a level of care that turns a simple beach bag into a touchable bit of social history.

Even the cult-favourite Le Pliage Filet Noeuds has been given a vibrant update through this project, now sporting colourful bast bows that add a handmade, human soul to the signature mesh. These artisanal pieces sit alongside the Le Roseau Toile cotton bags, designed for those who prefer their summer aesthetic in muted, sun-bleached tones that look better the more they are used.
Longchamp’s environmental conscience is having a bit of a technicolour lucky-dip moment with the Le Pliage Re-Play line. By raiding the back of the cupboard for leftover nylon remnants, the brand has engineered a series of limited-edition designs in nine kaleidoscopic colourways, ranging from zesty pinks to deep Mediterranean teals. Because the materials are sourced from existing remnants, the quantities are strictly limited, making each piece a bit of a lucky find.
For the actual surfers in the crowd, the Epuré Surf bag is the cleverest bit of design in the lineup. It features a coin purse inspired by old-school surf-wax tins that zips into a slim, elongated shoulder bag, providing just enough space for the essentials needed for a trip to the nearest beach bar.
Rounding out the vibe is the new Complice line, which introduces a trio of soft, curved silhouettes in lightweight cotton canvas. Whether it is the bucket bag or the mini crossbody, the shapes are relaxed and fluid, finished with leather accents that ground the airy fabric.
To make the look truly individual, the brand is encouraging a sense of creative clutter through charms and silk scarves tied to the handles. It is a playful, textured expression of personality, featuring everything from mini surfboards and beach beads to a quirky wooden snowman.
