AlphaTauri is kicking off summer with a burst of colour — and a clear connection to its Red Bull roots. The brand’s limited-edition High Summer Capsule Collection, launching 15 May, is a vibrant mash-up of sport, travel and technical fashion, with one very unexpected muse: a fizzy peach drink.

That vibrant shade runs through the nine-piece lineup with eleven different options, which includes matching men’s and women’s looks designed with warm-weather movement in mind. Lightweight utility vests, soft jersey sets, wide-leg trousers and 3D-ribbed knits come in breathable, four-way stretch fabrics that are water-repellent and easy to wear — whether you’re heading to the airport or just out for the day.

The campaign, fronted by AlphaTauri ambassador and Austrian tennis talent Joel Schwärzler alongside model Fanni Borbala Csati, channels that same momentum. And because this is AlphaTauri, accessories include a towel and a beverage holder made for keeping ORGANICS drinks close — because, well, why not?

If that weren’t enough, a custom AlphaTauri vending machine is making its debut as part of the drop, stocked with collection pieces and fizzy drinks alike — a cheeky nod to the brand’s hybrid DNA.

From deadpan stares to bold lip colours — Jenna Ortega is adding a new role to her growing list: global makeup ambassador for Dior. The actress, best known for bringing Wednesday Addams into the TikTok age, has been tapped by the French house to front its beauty line, working alongside Dior Makeup’s creative and image director Peter Philips.

It’s a fitting move for someone who’s spent the past few years bouncing between Tim Burton sets and red carpets, all while carving out a style and voice entirely her own. “The House of Dior symbolises audacity, elegance, and timelessness, and being part of it is both incredibly exciting and surreal,” she says. “The first time I wore lipstick, I must have been 10 or 11. It was for work — my mom put it on me in the bathroom of the studio.”

This year alone, Ortega’s schedule reads like a festival lineup: she’s returning for season two of Wednesday, reuniting with Burton for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, starring in Death of a Unicorn (which she also executive produced), appearing in Hurry Up Tomorrow with The Weeknd, and finishing The Gallerist opposite Natalie Portman. She’ll also star in Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi.

With her mix of sharp humour, creative edge and zero interest in playing it safe, Ortega feels like a natural match for Dior’s beauty direction — polished, but never boring.

Maison Valentino is shifting its tempo. This month, the brand is introducing L’Atelier Sonore — a listening room tucked inside its Madison Avenue boutique in New York, created in partnership with Italian cultural platform Terraforma founded by Ruggero Pietromarchi. The project brings together architecture, sound and mood in a space designed for reflection rather than display.

Upstairs, the mezzanine has been transformed. Designed with architect Francesco Lupia and sound designer Giorgio Di Salvo, the room features a custom-built sound system, a handcrafted console, and low modular seating upholstered in velvet. Every element has been considered, from the veneered wood patchwork to the carefully draped fabric walls. The result feels intimate, warm and deliberate — a place to sit and stay awhile which reflects the creative vision of Alessandro Michele.

The programme launches on May 15 with a 10-hour vinyl session, curated by Terraforma and featuring a lineup that spans ambient, experimental and avant-garde. Laraaji, Lea Bertucci, Laurel Halo, Lizzi Bougatsos, Chuquimamani-Condori, Kevin Beasley, Veronica Vasicka and Physical Therapy will each host a 45-minute listening session, playing records pulled from their personal collections. There’s no stage, no spectacle — just time, music, and the stories shared between tracks.

The space will stay open through the end of August, with daily hours from 10am to 6pm. A background playlist curated by Terraforma plays when no sessions are scheduled, and select guests will occasionally take over the room with their own playlists.
