This season, Canada Goose isn’t looking back – nor abandoning its roots – but sharpening its focus. For Autumn/Winter 2025, the Toronto-based brand recalibrates its iconic heritage hardwear with a new kind of precision, one that embraces urban adaptability without losing its signature weight and presence.
The campaign approaches exploration differently. Instead of remote landscapes, the lens finds adventure in the everyday: narrow streets, fleeting pockets of stillness, the restless rhythm of city life. Shot by Winter Vandenbrivk and styled by Jay Massacret, the visuals highlight individuality and resilience, pairing utility with an effortless ease.
The collection centres on transitional staples: fleece, sherpa, and lightweight down designed for the unexpected detours of urban living. Take the Chilliwack Bomber, a classic reimagined in rich wool with a cosy high-pile fleece collar, alongside a modern puffer iteration that nods to volume without tipping into exaggeration. Then there’s the Mystique Parka, originally a custom piece for the actress playing Mystique in the ‘X-Men’ films. For AW25, it returns in two distinct moods: Performance Satin, engineered for elevated weather protection, and Lumina, ultra-soft and tactile, catching light with quiet elegance.
For city life, the Cityscape line blends clean, architectural lines with functional edge. The Claremont Bomber and Jade Bomber, flight-jacket-inspired, soften their utilitarian roots with subtle tailoring, while staples like the Kirby Jacket and Maitland Parka riff on traditional workwear, upgraded with lightweight insulation and durable fabrics. Meanwhile, the Foundational tier delivers understated style with pieces like the packable Elba Bomber, the flowing Montgomery Coat, and the textured Lyndale Puffer, all refreshed without losing their distinctive character.
Footwear and accessories push the collection further. The Ossington Sneaker High bridges street-ready style with winter functionality, while the Piper Puffer Boot and Keystone Boot offer warmth with streamlined design. Accessories like the matte Endura Luxe waist packs, Cotton Rib Toques, and Alpaca Mitts combine practicality with a soft polish.
Underlying the collection is a strategic pivot: Canada Goose is moving beyond its winter parka legacy, expanding into footwear, bags, sweaters, and other lifestyle categories, creating a broader canvas without losing its core identity.
Autumn/Winter 2025 looks both backward and forward, rooted in its Canadian heritage but unafraid to explore new ground. The result is a collection defined by subtle confidence, where every silhouette, texture, and detail signals an evolution – precise, considered, and unmistakably Canada Goose.
