jacob cohën aw25 | première

For Autumn/Winter 2025, Jacob Cohën directs its gaze behind the curtains. In PREMIÈRE, a collection inspired by life on set, the brand captures the allure of quiet luxury with theatre and opera director Fabio Cherstich lending his storytelling prowess to a cinematic presentation. The collection, presented as a live experience, blurs the line between fashion and film with models becoming actors in their everyday life.

The collection speaks to the working actor’s off-camera wardrobe, embracing those in-between moments: travelling to set, lingering in personal reflection, or unwinding far from public view. There’s an unmistakable air of effortlessness — clothes that feel worn with intention rather than styled for spectacle

At its core, the collection stays true to the label’s artisanal roots. Denim, a longstanding signature, reappears reimagined in cashmere-wool blends that feel as luxurious as they look. Tailoring walks the line between structure and fluidity, with jackets skimming the shoulders and trench coats draping effortlessly, suggesting a life well-lived. Shirts, corduroy trousers, and knitwear bring tactile depth into the mix — pieces designed to be worn, not just seen.

A palette of warm neutrals dominates, with earthy browns, rich taupes, and denim blues punctuated by deeper tones that speak to autumn’s quiet drama. Silhouettes embrace ease: relaxed blazers, softly cinched coats, and trousers with a slouch that feels intentional rather than undone. Women’s looks reimagine utility with refined cargo pants and low-waisted trenches, all with a dash of cinematic attitude.
