a lisbon summer | nos alive festival 2025

From 10 – 12 July, NOS Alive festival was the place to be for an unmatched blend of city and sound. Located by the Algés river, Lisbon during the summer is already an easy sell, but in just a short ride from the city centre there was a music festival bustling with iconic international acts and local Portuguese talent. It was the perfect platform to explore the music scene of one of Europe’s most beloved cities.

When it comes to lineup, the festival delivered on variety. NOS Alive showcased huge artists, like Olivia Rodrigo on its sold out opening night and cult favourite Muse, as well as rising stars like CMAT and Aussie punk band Amyl and the Sniffers, not to mention Schön! favourites like Girl in Red and issue 44 digital cover girl Nathy Peluso.

Covering its bases across pop, electronic and rock, the waterside festival location at Passeio Marítimo de Algés was the perfect space to fully enjoy each act whether you were standing at the bar or the barriers. The crowd was filled with locals eager to enjoy their favourite artists live. Acts like CMAT were charming and interactive while Amyl and the Sniffers were electric and outspoken. With a chilled vibe and enticing destination, NOS Alive is a welcoming and family friendly festival to put on your radar for next year.
