Six months ago, somewhere in Paris, a unique one-of-a-kind motorcycle was designed by collaborators R. M. Williams and Blitz Motorcycles. The boot maker has teamed up with motorcycle specialist to create a bespoke scrambler, simultaneously celebrating the delicacy of craftsmanship and the need for technical excellence. With the former focusing on the leather detailing of the crocodile skin, and the latter on the motorcycle that pays homage to the advent of motor vehicles in the 20th century, the collaboration is a masterpiece within both specialties.
In line with the launch of the collaboration bike, along with the custom motorcycle boots, R. M. Williams and Blitz Motorcycles have released a short-film which chronicles the journey of their development process. As with the beauty of collaborations, it is truly brilliant to see so many coinciding elements between the crocodile boot and the motorcycle. The finished products, available to be purchased separately, are available now at Harrods.
