Ahead of the event, the Maison teased a possible inspiration behind the collection: Dorothea Tanning’s iconic 1943 painting Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, pulling from Tanning’s surrealist aesthetic and enigmatic themes. To commemorate the collection and show, the House commissioned an immersive installation translated into large-scale textile panels by painter Rithika Merchant aptly titled “The Flowers We Grew,” further leaning into the period between childhood and adulthood.
