Sandro’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection invites us to embrace a season of wanderlust and elegance, inspired by the dual desire for escape and adventure. Under the creative vision of Artistic Director Évelyne Chetrite, this collection captures the essence of summer getaways, seamlessly blending the sophistication of Parisian style with the laid-back allure of sun-soaked destinations. From the refined setting of a private seaside club to the vast openness of desert dunes, the collection celebrates the freedom of travel and the joy of dressing for life’s beautiful moments.

For the womenswear collection, Chetrite’s vision reflects a commitment to minimalism and layering, showcasing a palette of timeless colours — sand, sky blue, and navy. “I find inspiration in my daily life,” she says, adding, “whether it’s a meeting, a trip, or simply sitting at a café terrace, observing Paris.” This season, Sandro’s men’s collection captivates with a sophisticated yet understated aesthetic. Drawing from classic wardrobe staples like collared jackets and shark-collared shirts, it introduces vibrant splashes of azure blue and zesty lemon yellow — perfect for those who seek adventure in their everyday wear.

Fabrics play a crucial role in this collection’s sophisticated ease. Natural and breathable materials such as poplin, cool wool, and linen define the men’s collection, while women’s pieces offer textured depth with crepe, denim, and summer knits. “These fabrics provide comfort and add texture,” she explains, mirroring the journey from urban life to sunlit escapes.

One of the collection’s standout pieces for Chetrite is the minimalist knit skirt, which she describes as a summer essential that perfectly blends elegance and ease. The collection also boasts a striking dress, versatile suede boat shoes, and boldly printed bandanas that encapsulate the spirit of a sun-filled getaway. And let’s not overlook the charming mini version of the TANGOSO bag, available in various materials and colours — ideal for effortlessly transitioning from day to evening looks.

Family is another pillar of Sandro’s identity, with deep roots in Chetrite’s own journey. Growing up surrounded by creativity, from her mother’s beauty salon in Morocco, to her time in Paris flea markets, she developed an instinct for mixing fashion with storytelling. “Sandro was born in 1984 and developed very naturally from there through hard work and humility,” she recalls, emphasising the family core that remains central to the brand today.

Paris serves as both the muse and the heart of Sandro. The city’s elegance and artistic energy shape the brand’s ethos, which Chetrite sums up in three words: “chic, Parisian, cool.” The SS25 collection was showcased at Sandro’s Parisian headquarters, where the setting beautifully blended urban architecture with natural elements, mirroring the balance of sophistication and simplicity found in the designs.

Sustainability continues to guide Sandro’s vision for this season. Chetrite highlights the brand’s commitment to responsible fashion through the increased use of organic cotton and eco-friendly fabrics in the SS25 collection. “Our approach covers all stages of the collection’s life, from sourcing materials to transport,” she says. By prioritising timeless, long-lasting pieces, Sandro encourages consumers to invest wisely, promoting a more conscious approach to fashion.
