For its 20th anniversary, Messika unveils Move Ciselé, a refined take on its signature Move collection, where gold is not just polished but sculpted. Founded in 2005 by Valérie Messika, the Parisian jewellery house has developed a unique chiseled finish — a meticulous technique designed to catch and reflect light, giving each piece an artisanal depth.
Unlike traditional satin or brushed textures, chiseled gold is crafted with precision. Artisans delicately carve the metal, creating grooves that form an intricate play of raised and recessed surfaces. The result is a rich, tactile effect — one that transforms gold into something almost fluid, constantly shifting with movement and light. “Move Ciselé is a new space for expression in our expertise and creativity. Sculpted like a diamond, chiseled gold captures and reflects light, revealing a new dimension to our jewellery signature,” says Valérie Messika.

Inspired by haute couture’s ability to bring texture to fabric, the technique mirrors the effect of silk velvet — subtle yet luminous. The iconic Move Noa and Move Classique designs are reimagined with this new finish, adding contemporary sophistication to the Maison’s most recognisable pieces. Bold yet refined, Move Ciselé marks a new chapter in Messika’s ongoing exploration of innovation in fine jewellery.
