This multi-part Schön! online editorial photographed by Katya Bondarenko and filmed by Vladislav Grishchenko takes us on a journey through modern Ukraine.
In part one, the stereotypically uptight, conservative, and aged image of traditional Ukrainian theatre is broken, with models Masha and Vanya visiting the National Puppet Theater of Ukraine. For part two, consciousness is examined, with model Ostap Chumichev delving deep into the mind to experience true peace. Part three completes this experience; the city of Kyiv is growing and so too are its citizens, who enrich the city’s culture while building their own strength. This is embodied by model Nastya Salenko.
Stylist and art director Uliana Redkina dresses our models in looks from Sndct Kyiv, Chinatown Market, GCDS, and others. Make up for the editorial is by Evgenia Litus and Sasha Chudeeva.
