Today, iconic footwear brand Giuseppe Zanotti unveil its newest trainer silhouette: the “Urchin.” Described as “a fashion-forward, rebellious style made for the modern street,” the “Urchin” signals a new, innovative chapter for the brand. The name refers to Street urchin: “a mischievous, rabble-rouser,” highlighting the shoe’s non-conforming design ethos.
“I’ve always been inspired by the energy and pulse of the city,” says Giuseppe Zanotti in a press release. “Whether its Tokyo or Shanghai or New York, the common thread is a non-stop dynamism mixed with an independent attitude. The “Urchin” encapsulates that vitality and unorthodox mindset.”
The shoe features a state-of-the-art sole, made of lightweight, technical material trimmed with 3D scales with a flexible upper sole in neoprene. The main wow element resides in its bold graphic contrast trim and lateral deconstructed double zips, in a nod to Giuseppe Zanotti’s iconic hardware.
The “Urchin” includes two unisex models in black and white, respectively; a women’s low-top in cool nude and a men’s style in vivid orange.
