One way to get a foot in the door of the musical industry may be making connections with the producers, but darting her demo into a tree outside the CEO Recording Director’s home is what song writer Bonnie McKee felt would get her noticed. As it turns out, it absolutely did. Bonnie faced an array of challenges to get to where she is now as a successful lyricist who has written songs for the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Taio Cruz. She claims that learning from previous mistakes made at the beginning of her career helped show her the direction she needed to pursue, while song writing gave her the big break she craved. Bonnie has bounced back vigourously and eagerly, and she aims to channel her energy and talent into getting herself back into the spotlight.
