& other stories | autumn 2025

Autumn is arriving with flair at & Other Stories. With Jonathan Saunders now at the creative helm, the brand steps into a new era, unveiling a redefined identity, refreshed logo, and invigorated design philosophy in the debut chapter of its Autumn/Winter 2025 collection.

Saunders, known for his masterful flair for print and colour, joins & Other Stories after a celebrated career spanning DVF, Pollini, and his own eponymous line. As the newly appointed Chief Creative Officer, he’s now steering the brand towards more expressive, yet accessible horizons.

“The Autumn campaign celebrates real clothes for everyday experiences, designed to inspire individuality. The new brand identity combines nostalgia with modernity and signifies an exciting new chapter for & Other Stories,” Saunders explains. And honestly, his vision shines through.

The collection is a graceful knock on nostalgia’s door, drawing inspiration from the 60s mod tailoring, 70s textured richness, and 90s minimalist ease. Rebooted with modern finesse, it features cropped, structured tailoring in warm Italian wool, oversized wool coats draped nonchalantly over relaxed denim, and playful combos of bow-tie blouses with mini skirts or a circle skirt hides beneath chunky knits.

Textures anchor the mood: velvety mohair, tactile croc-effect leather, jacquard patterns, and rich corduroy pair beautifully with technical nylon outerwear. It’s the interplay of tender nostalgia and fresh edge that gives the pieces their subtle power.

Everything looks thoughtfully untucked and tastefully imperfect: bomber jackets pair with cord trousers, skirts peek out from beneath knitwear, and voluminous wool outerwear floats over the most casual jeans. It’s about finding joy in unexpected mix-and-match energy.

The colour palette shifts to playful hues, with bold bursts of pink, ultramarine blue, and lemon yellow piercing through an earthy palette of stone, bordeaux, slate, and black. Accessories evoke a nostalgic past, featuring 70s-style eyewear, chunky gold chains, retro bowling bags, and statement belts. Loafers and Chelsea boots pay homage to the mod era, while cuddly Teddy bags add a touch of softness to any sharp silhouette.

As for the campaign, the September chapter comes to vivid life through Oliver Hadlee Pearch’s lens, styled masterfully by Isabelle Sayer with art direction by JL Studio. Models Thea Almqvist, Xaria Carter, and Sihana Shalaj embody this new spirit with effortless poise.

With Saunders injecting expressive, thoughtful design into & Other Stories, the brand feels revitalised, still instantly wearable, but now with a narrative: one that invites you to own your style, embrace nostalgia, and write your own wardrobe story.

The collection is now available globally in select stores and online. Discover more here.
