This Schön! visual directed by Spanish photographer and filmmaker Federico Reparaz explores the human form not as a passive container, but as an active site where perception, memory, and desire converge. Through a series of movements performed by model Gaia Kahila, the film constructs a suspended narrative that oscillates between stillness and tension, intimacy and abstraction. The images overlap and dissolve into one another, amplifying a sense of visual poetry.
Shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, this choice of medium was central: its precision and versatility allow for a striking black-and-white aesthetic that evokes the tactile qualities of 16mm film, while maintaining a dreamlike and timeless atmosphere. This duality situates the project at the crossroads of art, cinema, and documentary. The creative team includes stylist Giorgia Ferrari, hairstylist and makeup artist Miwa Moroki, director of photography Erea Azurmendi, and editor Manu Azurmendi.
