stella mccartney | the winter 2025 campaign

Stella McCartney’s Winter 2025 campaign, titled ‘Laptop to Lapdance’, is the perfect example of day-to-night dressing. Shown during Paris Fashion Week in March, the collection was presented as a wardrobe for the working woman. The House’s latest campaign is a continuation of that, celebrating the Stella McCartney woman at each phase of her life, morning and night. The show was set at STELLACORP, an imaginary material innovation company leading the development of next-generation, cruelty-free alternatives. The striking and effortlessly wearable House codes from the collection are set against an elevator and a simple white wall in the campaign, both of which reference STELLACORP and allow the garments to take centre stage.

The idea of STELLACORP isn’t just a fantasy, though. The House has always taken a stance against exotic skins, instead opting to mimic it by using vegan iterations of snake and ostrich leather created with mycelium – the root-like structures of fungi. Each year, the fashion industry is responsible for the deaths of more than one million ostriches and half a million wild pythons, even though exotics have been banned at London Fashion Week, Copenhagen Fashion Week, and Melbourne Fashion Week. Stella McCartney prides itself on never having harmed a single creature.

Eva Mendes is the star of the House’s winter campaign, alongside the models Natalia Vodianova, Amelia Gray, Karolina Spakowski, Haojie Qi, Song Ah Woo, Angelina Kendall, Yilan Hua, Agel Akol, Caitlin Soetendal, Claire Marie, Victoria Fawole and Hanna Leszek, who all walked in the Autumn/Winter 2025 runway show. Mendes will also feature in an immersive, interactive digital shopping session, the first in a new series for the House. ‘Shop With Stella: Winter 2025’ will be available to stream on the brand’s website from September 15, marking an innovative new way for consumers to buy and interact with the world of Stella McCartney.

The collection is just as daring as the campaign images. The pieces remain true to McCartney’s renowned design style, marrying professional and party dressing through the use of ‘80s power shoulders, crisp suiting, and draped dresses. Proportions emphasise the body with ruching, while varied textures add interest to the look. Along with core items, the limited-edition Stella McCartney x Jeff Koons organic cotton t-shirt shines brightly. It combines Koons’ Untitled artwork with McCartney’s Slippery When Wet slogan. The collection is made with 96% conscious and 100% cruelty-free materials, allowing you to feel good about what you wear.

The Stella McCartney Winter 2025 collection is now available for purchase in boutiques globally, select retailers worldwide, and at stellamccartney.com.
