With soft supple calfskin leather, a recognisable monogram print, and striking colourways, it’s hard not to fall in love with Louis Vuitton’s Speedy P9 bag. The brand’s renowned monogram motif has been screen printed onto the leather, resembling that of the Monogram Canvas – which was launched in 1959.
Every single detail has been executed to perfection, from the lambskin leather lining and luxurious gold hardware to a plaque on the inside signed by Williams reading, ‘The sun is shining on us’. The adjustable and removable strap, name tag, key bell, and removable leather pouch are just a few features that make the new iteration even more wearable. The bag’s distinctive timeless appeal and sturdy construction mean it’s in constant rotation – and, for the very first time, it’s being carried as a unisex bag. Seen on the likes of Naomi Campbell, Jacob Elordi, Usher, Jackson Wang, and Lewis Hamilton, not only is the Speedy P9 a celebrity It-bag, but it is the pinnacle of luxury.
