It’s here at last!
One of our favourite brands rag & bone finally opens its first European flagship store on 25th July 2012, occupying a prominent position on 13-14 Sloane Square. Of course we went to check the brand out and we left the store more than satisfied!

Critically and commercially successful fashion line rag & bone, is essentially a New York brand but the collections have always been influenced by the British roots of their founders, CDFA-winning duo David Neville and Marcus Wainwright. We definitely picked up on that when we featured Rico the Zombie wearing their jacket on our 14th cover. Rag & bone’s in-house store design team worked in conjunction with Boxco2 Consultants on the project. The brand will present its SS 2013 collection during London Fashion Week at their new Sloane Square premise in September.
Opening hours during the Olympics will be as follows: Mon-Sat 10-8pm, Sun 12-7pm
Regular opening hours: Mon-Sat 10-7pm, Sun 12-6pm

“Black Hole” redefines emptiness not as an absence, but as a threshold of possibilities where what remains hidden holds as much weight as what is revealed. The film, directed by Spanish photographer and filmmaker Federico Reparaz, explores interstitial spaces that oscillate between the beautiful and the unsettling, the evident and the concealed. Spaces that are structured through the paradoxes of the fleeting and the suspended. The project also investigates the notion of emptiness not merely as an absence, but as a realm of possibility where what is left unseen is just as significant as what is revealed.
Shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, this choice of medium was driven by its ability to deliver a precise and detailed visual aesthetic while simultaneously allowing for an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. The film follows model and writer Aine O’Leary as she recites the opening lines of a National Geographic documentary on black holes, moving through different locations in a wintery Normandy — a forest, the river’s edge, the ruins of an abandoned house. The tension arising from her presence within these liminal landscapes, between what is spoken and what remains unsaid, between beauty and eeriness, immerses the viewer in a state of uncertainty, making them an active participant in the visual narrative’s resolution. Shot alongside Erea Azurmendi and edited by Manu Azurmendi, the creative team also includes stylist Giorgia Ferrari and makeup artist and hairstylist Aniela Fik.
