In the heart of London, the sensational Parisian landscape is encapsulated within the walls of The Corner Shop at Selfridges. LOUIS VUITTON LOVERS at Selfridges is a celebration of Pharell Williams’ first collection as Men’s Creative Director at the French fashion house. The pop-up allows clients to immerse themselves in the highly sought-after spring/summer 2024 collection.
Sunset orange cubes are stacked elegantly, hosting exclusive Louis Vuitton Speedy bags that stand out with Monogram Leather and Damier Pop. The display — a nod to significant cultural landmarks in Paris — includes Pont Neuf, an homage to the location of Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show. Mannequins appear to be taking a leisurely stroll along the Seine – whilst draped in a curated edit of Williams’ first collection, of course. Sixteen of Selfridges’ windows have been transformed into rays of sunlight, displaying the message: “What will you do when the sun shines on you?” The show and its music envelop the space, connecting fashion, music, and community within the iconic London department store.
The bespoke pop-up also ushers in a new era for Louis Vuitton and Williams as he just unveiled his aforementioned debut collection. Williams is someone who defines the word “multihypenate” and his collaboration with the fashion house is one that he is clearly honouring — using Louis Vuitton’s famous signature Damier pattern across the collection with a modern twist for S/S 2024.
For five weeks, fashion lovers in London can get a taste of Paris by visiting the collection which brings together Williams’ unique tastes and aesthetics with the Maison’s history of “unifying creative universes” to create something that is larger than life. Celebrating fashion, music, and community — all while perusing a curated collection — serves as the perfect way to mark the beginning of a new year.
Get lost under the Pont Neuf’s arches or discover your next must-have item at LOUIS VUITTON LOVERS at Selfridges London from now until February 7th.
