oakley | tailend ti returns on its 10th anniversary

Oakley is turning back the clock, but with a sharper edge. A decade after its debut, the cult-favourite Tailend returns – this time stripped back, reworked and rebuilt in titanium. The 2025 Tailend TI carries the spirit of the original 2015 silhouette but pushes it further: its rimless design features a hidden internal frame that gives the lenses an almost “floating” appearance, an effect straight out of the brand’s bold ‘Mad Science’ era.

Light in feel but heavy on intent, every detail has been engineered for precision. Subtle laser-etched textures add depth without disrupting the clean minimalism, playing with contrast and perception — the illusion of simplicity layered over a deeply technical build. Prizm Ruby lenses do the heavy lifting visually, heightening colour and contrast until the world sharpens around the edges.

For all its sci-fi attitude, it hasn’t sacrificed comfort. Grip-Fit nose pads and Unobtainium® earsocks hold steady through movement and heat, while matte titanium orbitals deliver a more refined finish that lets the silhouette speak for itself.

First revealed at an intimate HAVEN launch in Vancouver before rolling out globally, the Tailend TI honours Oakley’s design legacy while looking firmly ahead.
