louis vuitton | the a/w 2025 campaign featuring emma stone and hoyeon

Louis Vuitton has never been shy about staging a show — and Autumn/Winter 2025 was no exception. Back in March, Nicolas Ghesquière turned Gare du Nord into a cinematic crossroads, where fleeting encounters, silent glances, and that familiar thrum of anticipation set the tone for a collection built around the idea of travel. Now, with the campaign captured by American photographer Ethan James Green, that same energy plays out across a new set of images, led by House ambassadors and Hollywood stars Emma Stone and Hoyeon.

There’s a sense of motion even when everyone’s standing still. Whether it’s Stone in velvet tailoring or Hoyeon in fluid leathers, the clothes suggest stories still unfolding. That mix of euphoria, melancholy, and suspense that Ghesquière has long woven into his collections returns, this time in a series of images that speak to travel not as a destination but as an emotion.

Stone and Hoyeon lounge on oversized, velvet couches — picture-perfect but slightly boxed in, like travellers stuck in that in-between space with nothing to do but wait. Stone brings her usual ease and magnetism to the role (she’s no stranger to a good narrative, after all), while Hoyeon’s cool precision adds just the right edge. Between them, they anchor the campaign in that sweet spot between romance and realism.

Yet, the spotlight is reserved for the new Express bag: a soft-edged, structured shape that reworks Louis Vuitton’s travel codes with a lighter touch. Named after the original moniker for the Speedy in the 1930s, the bag comes trimmed with monogram handles, jacquard lining, finished with a gold-tone padlock, and designed in calfskin and grained leather.

The collection lands online and in select stores from July 25, with a wider global release on August 1.
