Mayfair has a new clubhouse – though not the members-only sort. For one month only, Mister Nice has swapped its Paris-meets-London elegance for East Coast preppiness, courtesy of Gant. The American sportswear brand has staged a takeover, rechristening the Davies Street restaurant as ‘The Gant House,’ where Ivy League heritage is reimagined through food, style, and atmosphere.
The Dining Room sets the tone with an East Coast spirit of hospitality, where American comfort classics are given a French spin. Think lobster rolls with a twist, served on custom-made plates that borrow from Gant’s collegiate roots. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the club, from the coasters and matchbooks to the carefully curated playlist. Each element serves as a nod to the brand’s long-standing reputation for cultivating an effortless, lived-in sophistication that has been a hallmark since the 1940s.
The adjoining Lounge slows the tempo. Oak panels, low lighting, and a retro soundtrack set the scene, while the bar pours a refined wine list in true clubhouse style. On Fridays, the space shifts again, hosting music and art nights that add a cultural edge to the experience.
Just next door, Gant keeps the momentum going with a pop-up at 20 Davies Street. The space presents highlights from its Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, featuring shirting, blazers, knitwear, outerwear, and accessories, distilling the American East Coast look into pieces designed for a London wardrobe.
“We wanted to create more than a campaign showcase – we set out to build an immersive experience that captures the spirit of Gant,” says Fredrik Malm, EVP of Global Commercial, Brand & Product at Gant. “By bringing together dining, culture, and style under one roof, and extending the experience with our Davies Street pop-up, we’re offering our community new ways to connect with the brand’s heritage while discovering its modern expression.”
The Gant House is now open to the public from 19 September to 15 October. Discover the Autumn/Winter 2025 collection here.
