This season, Heron Preston and Calvin Klein are evolving. Bringing in elements from streetwear, classic Calvin Klein styles and more, Season 2 of this collaboration showcases an explosion of creativity — and a forward movement for the disruptive designer Heron Preston in his role as a Creative Consultant.
Well-known styles from Calvin Klein have been revamped, taking in influence from contemporary culture whilst showcasing Preston’s flair for accented colour. Texture and size are explored, creating a diverse assortment of looks ideal for any body.
“For Fall, it was about introducing new materials and dissected, timeless essentials that are interesting. We thought about how Calvin Klein shows up in the world, in a modern way,” explains Preston. “What I love most about Season 2 is the versatility of each piece and the different styling options through the layering that we designed into the collection.”
Among the new additions are straight-leg joggers in plush cotton french terry, a range of bralettes, long sleeved crop tops and leggings in waffle thermal knits, lined shirt jackets and puffers, which join a series of new knits and denim silhouettes made with organic cotton, recycled polyester and recycled nylon.
Supporting this campaign is a film and imagery by award-winning director and filmmaker Ricky Saiz. The campaign features a cast of favourites like Nas and a series of newcomers, including Akobi, Austin, Devyn, HVN, Koa, TY, Raph and Savion.
