Get ready to get moving because Browns Fashion is officially making its way into the world of women’s activewear. Sportswear and streetwear are no longer just the domain of the athletic. With more luxury houses producing pieces fit for both style and exercise, it only makes sense that an iconic retailer such as Browns Fashion would pave their way into this growing, exciting area.
To curate their offerings, Browns Fashion decided to focus on two specific themes: performance and lifestyle. “There are the practical styles worn to workout in, and then the Browns take on sports lifestyle, including bodycon dresses and bold-neon styles to get your heart racing,” Browns Fashion expressed in a statement.
So far, Browns Fashion is offering 33 brands, a spread that blends well-known luxury style, up-and-coming designers and contemporary leaders in the women’s activewear world.
Included in this list are the likes of Versace Active, Adam Selman Sport, Fantabody and, of course, all the latest from Nike and Adidas, such as Adidas’ highly anticipated collaboration with designer Daniëlle Cathari. Alongside all of these offerings are three exclusive styles from Natalie Maczek’s MISBHV, making for a truly comprehensive collection.
“I am really obsessed with the brands that are starting to ‘get’ womenswear when it comes to sports and streetwear, like the Nike x Ambush collaboration and Daniëlle Cathari for Adidas,” says Lola Okuyiga, collaborations and special project buyer for Browns Fashion. “For me, I love how the casualisation of dressing has brought on style icons such as Aleali May who can wear a Celine shirt with her Air Jordan Ones, and this is what inspired me when curating this edit for the Browns customer.”
Browns Fashion‘ selection women’s activewear is currently available on their website, alongside an installation at Browns East, 21 Club Row E2, London.
