The new Spring/Summer 2021 collection from Parajumpers welcomes several new silhouettes while reimagining the classics. To ground the collection, the label began by focusing on their new EVO category, short for “evolution”. The title is no misnomer — for pieces in the EVO range, the label takes inspiration from its classic works and innovates, introducing special treatments, new fabrics and contemporary silhouettes.

The men’s EVO collection is divided into two sections: PARARESCUE and RELOADED. PARARESCUE utilises a resistant, polyurethane-coated nylon canvas to create looks in bold colour inspired by the vintage uniforms of the North American Rescue Team. RELOADED embraces classic models from the Masterpiece collection and rethinks them, changing up their hues and giving them a whole new and exciting life.

For the women’s collection, Parajumpers opted for a more fashion-centred approach. BAYSIDE offers a soft safteen fabric paired with a relaxed fit and stylish detailing, such as golden metallic zippers and buttons. HOLLYWOOD presents puffers in neutrally-toned semi-shiny taffeta, similarly detailed with golden metallic zippers. For the new SHEER SHELL, the brand is debuting an oversize fit crafting from super-light and transparent taffeta.

ICONS features just that — icons of the brand’s past brought into the present. The label’s MASTERPIECE and WINDBREAKER lines are functional looks with classic Parajumpers detailing, with series in both leather and suede. Additionally, Parajumpers has also brought more attention to its light jackets and hybrids, which are ideal for midseason temperatures. Along with classic families like SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT, DAY TRIPPER, SHEEN, the label is introducing the VARSITY family for men, which features stretch fabric and down injected directly into the tubular construction for a comfortable fit. The new women’s additions include the DUSTER and QUILTED families, which can be explored on the label’s website.

This season, Parajumpers also furthered its commitment to developing more fleeces and tees. These are paired with a range of new accessories, including practical, function-driven caps and a series of high-quality bags.
