Dsquared2 kicked off Milan’s Men Fashion Week with a party on the Alps. For Autumn/Winter 2026, Dean and Dan Caten presented a line-up of looks that revolutionise the way we think about après-ski, turning the idea of winter dressing into something wild, cinematic and unmistakably Canadian.
The snowy runway, complete with fake snow, fir trees, boards and even a custom AI soundtrack showcased a full-on winter performance, blending sports heritage and fantasy. The set felt like a frosted dreamscape where ski culture and street attitude collided, animating every puffer, parka and knitwear piece with purpose.
And then Hudson Williams arrived. The star of ‘Heated Rivalry’ – itself a cult sensation rooted in hockey culture – made his runway debut by opening the show, trading cottage gear for high-fashion snow boots and a layered bomber worthy of the Winter Olympics. Williams embodied the collection’s “hot as ice” persona, sporting an ensemble that paid tribute to Canadian heritage and Dsquared2’s playful approach to sports references.

Clothes arrived like characters cresting a mountain: hockey jerseys emblazoned with maple leaves, oversized puffers that looked like wearable snowdrifts and ski catsuits that seemed ready for both piste and party. Protection was both practical and attitude. Massive parkas enveloped racing-ready layers, cropped turtlenecks mimicked competition bibs, padded vests had the arrogance of leather jackets and flared leather pants grounded it all with a hint of outlaw spirit. Frosted denim shone as if kissed by frost and shearling-lined trucker coats felt rugged but refined.
For the women’s side, the Caten duo pulled off a similar alchemy, blending technical gear with forward-leaning, almost sci-fi silhouettes. Corseted puffers became mini dresses, hockey-inspired jackets matched with nylon-trimmed trousers and sculptural bustiers paired with leggings and wedge ski boots that looked lifted straight out of a cyberpunk après-ski bar. Glossy latex and off-shoulder bombers with furry collars brought a bit of icy glamour.
Speaking of, the footwear alone stole moments of its own. From high-impact snow boots to alpine-ready square-toed leather ring boots with ski-appropriate details, each pair anchored the look with humour and gusto.
The tech obsession continued with the #D2speed eyewear collaboration with Carrera. These hybrid pieces feature a magnetic system allowing you to quickly swap out temples for an elastic branded band. Inspired by vintage 70s ski goggles this special edition is available in black, white and red.
And because no Dsquared2 show would be complete without a bit of theatre, the finale delivered. Dan and Dean Caten took their bow atop two shirtless models, clad in (you guessed it) Canadian hockey jerseys.
