diesel remaster | music rethreaded

Diesel’s Remaster capsule is a tribute to the deep, often personal link between music and fashion. Under Glenn Martens’ direction and in collaboration with NTS Radio, the brand hands the mic to 15 DJs from across the globe — each one selecting a garment and printing it with a quote tied to a track that changed everything for them.

There’s Charisse C, the Zimbabwean-born, London-based DJ known for spotlighting Black electronic music heritage; Physical Therapy from New York, blending chaos and catharsis; Slim Soledad, bringing São Paulo’s ballroom energy to Paris; Venetta, channeling Berlin’s queer club scene along with fellow Berlin-based artist LSDXOXO; and many more contributors. Every garment reflects the individual behind it, embodying the power of a single track to reroute a life.

Visually, Remaster pulls from the archives of tour merch and Diesel’s own design language. Sheer tanks, distressed denim, sweatshirts, miniskirts and deconstructed dresses come layered, devoré-treated or in punchy Pop colours. Streetwear meets stage-wear essentially. Accessories include updated versions of the Play bag, a new pair of Trini-D-Y sunglasses made with EssilorLuxottica, and stomp-worthy footwear like the Lake clear mule and the D-Shock boot.

But that’s not all. On April 12, Diesel heads to Shanghai for an eight-hour public festival. The tour continues in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, bringing club nights and exclusive performances to each city.

The capsule is available now online and in select stores.
