Cushnie at Ochs took a softer turn this season, venturing into diverse new color territory with pastels and jewel tones. Thanks to plenty of artfully exposed skin, their quintessential sex appeal remained: the silhouette was body-conscious, with the lineup ruled by knee-length sheaths, and some high-waited pants thrown in for good measure. Origami-style folds gave the impression of paper, while a series of black dresses with architectural cutouts made for the strongest looks, drawing attention to under-appreciated body parts like the upper arm, and under the breasts.
