Always on the cutting-edge of sustainable, cruelty-free style, Save The Duck is changing the game once again with a new capsule collection collaboration with creative agency Compound.
This collaboration feels natural for the two labels — Compound is an agency that stresses the importance of artistry, blending the worlds of art, sports, music and fashion with a future-centred approach. Save The Duck shares a similar vision; through the label’s tradition of creating 100% cruelty-free and vegan products, the brand both presaged contemporary conversations about sustainability and set a high standard for other brands to follow, an innovation that makes Compound a natural complement.
For the collaboration, the two labels decided to focus on comfort, durability and practicality, creating a range perfect for the coming winter. The ‘7 Elements’ collection, as the labels have called it, forefronts fire, water, earth, and air — the four natural elements defined by the Greeks and Romans — and combines them with elements cherished by civilisations through time: wood, metal and ether.

The 7 Elements capsule collection features a cold weather-ready Pro-Tech Collection, including a long parka jacket, short jacket, mask, gloves and a streetwear collection that includes three hoodies, all available in a range of unique colours.
“Being forced to quarantine at the height of the pandemic in Mexico and leaving the usual hustle and fast paced NYC, I was able to experience and appreciate the elements of life,” says Set Free, Founder of Compound. “I became one with the Earth…the experience helped to inspire the collection. For Compound and Set Free, 7 is more than a number. It represents God and spirituality, free thinking, and creativity. To compound is to combine one or more elements to create something greater. To showcase this new collaboration, Save The Duck and Compound invited a team of big name talent to promote the capsule and represent its message, including Compound founder Set Free, Houston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. and acclaimed hip-hop artist Jadakiss.
