This Schön! online editorial references Cindy Sherman, Guy Bourdin, and Alex Prager, as it follows an elusive woman through a city. Bex Aston photographs Toni Caroline, who serves as both model and stylist for the shoot. They say, “Although the story has a feeling of displacement and isolation we felt it important to retain a sense of quirk and optimism through its playfulness, as our ambiguous woman in the city is ‘dressed up’ and on a path to a brighter future.” The woman is indeed dressed up, wearing Fred Perry, Lacoste, Carmen Llaguno, and more. Graphic designer Eliot Nathan and retoucher Hand of God also took part in this shoot at the Truman Brewery.
