Several weeks ago, Dior re-opened its flagship location in Paris after two years of extensive renovation. Located at 30 Avenue Montaigne, this boutique has been active since 1946, and now, the space spans 10,000 square meters.
As part of this space, Dior has created La Galerie Dior — “an original exhibition space that bears witness to the visionary audacity of Christian Dior and his six successors: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri,” according to a press release from the label.
The gallery is a journey through time, featuring many items on display for the first time, such as silhouettes, original sketches and archival documents. Many notable pieces are also on display, providing a visual feast for all who visit.
