POAN has returned, this time with a spy-themed twist. The London label has dazzled us with everything from its Wild West-oriented “The End” collection to “Bacchus,” an imagined land of sensual wonder and mystery. Today, POAN takes us from the chalet to the slopes, releasing an Alpine-inspired winter collection based on James Bond in The Spy Who Loved Me. The best part? You have a chance to win a piece from this new collection. Stick around until the end to find out how.
“POLIZEI” centres on woolly pieces, with POAN designing a series of felted bomber jackets and wide-legged trousers perfect for both the streets and the ski hill. Every piece is produced with traditional ski-wear design, technique, and production at its core, but executed with a contemporary twist. Sometimes this takes the form of neon colouring; other times, POAN completely flips the script, putting out something like their Alcantara jumpsuit. The jumpsuit, they say, is a fashion take on a ski overall, released as part of POLIZEI’s “Hero” range targeting the influencers and tastemakers among us.
While these higher-end options are certainly exciting, POAN made sure to keep fans of the brand excited at every price point. The Alpine-aesthetic created for POLIZEI carries over into a range of other products including jerseys, t-shirts, and sweatpants inspired by both ski and street culture.
In coordination with the launch of “POLIZEI”, POAN is completely revamping their London boutique. The retail location will become a fully-integrated multi-media space, mixing fashion, art, interior design and more in one SoHo Square-based storefront. This move presents POAN as a Gesamtkunstwerk, a multidisciplinary aesthetic concept integrating fashion into a world of artistic experience. With POAN’s body of killer film and visual work, this move should come as no surprise, and we can’t wait to see where they go with it.
To celebrate both “POLIZEI” and the transformation of their SoHo store, POAN has announced an exclusive giveaway through their Instagram. If you want a chance to win one of five Alcantara bombers, click on this post and follow the directions in the description.
If you just can’t wait, the bomber and the rest of “POLIZEI” are available online and in-store right now. Check out the entire “POLIZEI” collection here.
