We’re big fans of innovation here at Schön!, and for the twelfth day of Christmas we present to you one of the most inventive new products of the year. The Hövding (meaning chieftain in Swedish) is an airbag for cyclists. Determined that there was a more stylish alternative to cycle helmets, Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin developed Hövding. It looks like a scarf, is turned on by being zipped up, and inflates when the wearer is in an accident. It even provides stronger protection for cyclists than traditional helmets. Don’t believe us?
