Swiss fashion was celebrated yet again at this year’s Mode Suisse. This year marked the twentieth iteration of the event, and to celebrate, there was a general theme of friendship and support omnipresent throughout. The presentation featured two identical shows with eleven participants, each showcasing their talent on the runway. Among the featured were Casella Meyer, Nina Yuun x LEONIE RISCH, HEAD – Genève (featuring Sarah Bounab and Céline Schmid), amorphose, Jacqueline Loekito, Volans (in collaboration with eyewear label SOL SOL ITO), LIDA NOBA, F+F Modedesign Zurich (featuring Besime Sasivari, VNIC Leonardo and Vladislav Rüegger), NOMADISSEM, and MOURJJAN, which collaborated with Ginny Litscher for its collection. Additionally, Mode Suisse will continue to promote the featured designers via DACH Showroom online, the pop-up store Sélection Mode Suisse chez Jelmoli in Zurich, online at Laufmeter and through special events as part of the HEAD – Genève graduation program.
