Louis Vuitton is in a celebratory mood for 2026. The Maison marks the 130th anniversary of its Monogram by launching a new campaign that explores the personal connections between global ambassadors and the icons they carry. This year-long tribute serves as a testament to a 130-year journey where heritage and modernity meet. Since 1854, the House has maintained a commitment to fine craftsmanship and the creative audacity of its founder.
Photographer Glen Luchford and director Roman Coppola capture a series of narratives that frame these bags as lifelong travelling companions. The faces featured are as iconic as the bags themselves, reflecting the deep-rooted relationships these stars have built with the Maison over years of front-row appearances and red-carpet moments.
House Ambassador Zendaya introduces the chapter with the Speedy, a design that debuted in the early 1930s as a versatile piece of soft luggage. It became a symbol of freedom and received its Monogram canvas update in 1959. The bag has since served as a surface for various artistic reinterpretations that reflect her own dynamic lifestyle. Zendaya has often turned to Louis Vuitton for her most transformative career milestones, making her a natural fit for a bag defined by movement and evolution.
Catherine Deneuve shares her history with the Alma, a bag that draws from the Art Deco-inspired Squire lineage. Officially introduced in 1992, the Alma combines architectural structure with Parisian elegance through its curved base and rounded handles. This balance of precision and grace allows her own memories to intertwine with a design that remains a staple of contemporary artistry. As a long-standing friend of the House and a constant presence at the shows of Nicolas Ghesquière, Deneuve embodies the sophisticated poise of this specific silhouette.
Liu Yifei focuses on the Noé, which was originally created in 1932 to transport five bottles of champagne. Its transition from a practical tool to a poetic silhouette is defined by its drawstring closure and light Monogram canvas. This bag represents a sense of spirited independence that mirrors her own journey. Her partnership with the Maison often highlights a blend of classic heritage and modern strength.
Hoyeon presents the Neverfull, a 2007 design that reimagines the earliest carry-alls from the archives. Its striped textile lining references the interior of vintage trunks, while the adjustable side laces and hand-stitched handles provide a durability that suits a modern vision of style. This bag moves between different worlds with a sense of purpose that complements her perspective on fashion. Every icon in the collection stems from the same spirit of innovation that defined the original trunks of the House. Hoyeon’s rise from the runway to global stardom has been closely linked with the Maison, reinforcing the idea of a bag that can hold the weight of a multifaceted life.
The campaign featuring Zendaya launches today across all Louis Vuitton platforms and in print. The stories of the other ambassadors will be unveiled starting February 11th. Find out more here.
