From 12th May to the 13th, the fifth anniversary of Visa Fashion Week Almaty took place in the Kazakh city. Over the course of these two exciting days, people from around the world were able to experience Kazakhstani and foreign designers – and their exclusive collections for the FW 2022-2023 season.
“We wanted to dedicate the new season of Visa Fashion Week Almaty to the city of Almaty, thus showing our love for it, for its stunningly beautiful nature, which inspires us to create beauty. We wanted to reflect this at the event itself, so that the guests could be imbued with our idea, so the design of the location and the setup of the event were made in the style of mountain landscapes, and the photo session of the event took place in the most picturesque places of the Almaty region,” explains Baurzhan Shadibekov, General Director of Visa Fashion Week Almaty.
This season welcomed local designers like Kirpi alongside guests from places like Georgia, Russia and Uzbekistan. Explore selections from several of the designers below.
