You’ve just been invited to the official opening of the #jitroisklub. After what felt like an eternity apart, the peoples of the world can finally come back together in celebration. Some of these celebrations are admittedly minor — dinners, casual meet-ups and the like — but at Jitrois, the label has its eyes set on the biggest and brightest things we’ve all been missing. The latest collection from Jitrois raises a glass for the partier in all of us, encouraging us to go out and embrace the world once again.
To do this, the label has embraced materials and designs like ergonomic stretch leather strips, asymmetrical bandeaus and micro-mini-skirts. All of the pieces of the collection are designed to move — either elegantly following the wearer’s body or complementing whomever they find themselves rubbing up against.
The numerous works of this SS22 collection work by forming a clever geometry between the skin and material. Corseted tops and dresses beautifully highlight the neckline and chest whilst their structure retains a natural downward flow, making every piece look both elegant and unique. Along with these pieces comes the various works made of a luxurious black stretch leather, placed close to the body to form a sort of second skin that plays with reflection. Naturally, the collection is filled with occasional bursts of colour — highlighting the explosion of life and culture to which we cannot wait to return.
