After Haider Ackermann’s Spring/Summer 26 collection at Tom Ford, you might have thought he’d satisfied our cravings. But this time, at Canada Goose, the French designer is redefining winter-wear with Snow Goose.
Acting as the third collaboration with the Toronto-born label, the capsule collection reinterprets the brand’s Arctic roots through colour, construction and a deeper sense of connection to nature.
Ackermann reimagines Canada Goose’s technical language with unexpected design choices: linings become outer shells, quilting is turned inside out and performance fabrics take on a more sculptural form. The palette drifts between fluorescent mint, ice lavender and deep navy earth-blue, anchored by muted browns and black.
Reflective details shimmer like light over frozen terrain, shifting overtime like the season itself. This is most noticeable in items like the Merge Jacket and Pant set, the colour-changing heavy-duty Thalix Parka, the lightweight Shift Anorak and the Weld Jacket.
“Winter is often imagined as a season of silence, as quiet or still,” Ackermann says. “But I wanted this collection to breathe, to move with the rhythm of life that persists beneath the cold and capture the pulse of life in the cold.”
This sentiment is mirrored in the campaign’s message: ‘The Earth Needs All the Friends It Can Get,’ proudly displayed through a statement graphic on standout pieces like the Rigel Heavyweight Hoodie.

The accompanying campaign, photographed by Tim Elkaïm, stars music legend Willie Nelson and Canadian actor D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai – two generations brought together by a shared respect for the planet. Models Tasha Tilberg, Stevie Sims, Xiaowen Ju and Connor Newall join them, embodying the strength and optimism that run through the Autumn/Winter 2025 collection.
But this ongoing partnership continues beyond design. Later this month, Ackermann will host a four-day expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, in collaboration with Polar Bears International to reinforce the brand’s long-term commitment to Arctic conservation. The landscape comes alive each November as polar bears gather along the Hudson Bay.
The Snow Goose Autumn/Winter 2025 collection will be available for pre-order from 13 to 17 November online, with a global in-store release on 18 November.
