The shift from URL playgrounds to IRL mother earth is coming — and photographer and director Anisha Sisodia is embarking on a mission to explore it. “‘Cosmicore’ is a visual representation of “grounding ourselves in a post-pandemic world and how we can exist, in peace, within the inescapable digital takeover by returning back to nature and re-establishing our identity via intentional mindfulness and human connection,” explains the team on the editorial, a seamless blend of fashion and futurism.
The fashion, curated and styled by Caro Son, examines how co-existing with both the inescapable digital takeover by going back to our roots, exploring nature and embracing acts of self-discovery. “I wanted to utilize a mix of mainstream staple brands like Nike along with more obscure Japanese brands such as And Wander and Montbell,” states Son. “In my mind, the combination of these brands symbolize what the evolution into a more Cosmicore lifestyle could look like.” These elements are brought together through production designer Gina Canavan, giving a nod to cosmic dystopia, using shades and lights to embody the hopeful feeling of optimism and connection.
In true ‘Cosmicore’ fashion, the team came together and danced between roles; discarding specific labels by creating a free-moving production where everyone could embrace their true selves. Rather than restrict ‘jobs,’ the production gave way to whatever the team wanted to do — the 1st AC became a set designer, a PA became a model, and the like.
As a final word, the team declares: “To create something authentic requires authenticity being embodied in the process. The moments that are right in front of us are the moments we can decide + expand. ‘Cosmicore’ tells a story of exploring uncharted territory. “

The project reimagines the traditional dynamics of editorial fashion, offering a bold and dreamlike interpretation of the “pull letter” concept. The process of sourcing garments from brands is often a delicate dance of negotiation, where access is never guaranteed, and even the most coveted pull letter cannot always unlock the desired pieces. This editorial dares to blur the lines between reality and illusion, replacing physical garments with hyper-realistic printed replicas—transforming fashion into an exquisite mirage.
Freed from the constraints of availability and brand permissions, this visionary approach opens the door to limitless creativity, where style exists untethered from logistics. Each meticulously crafted print is seamlessly woven into styled scenes, playing with perception and elevating fashion to the realm of the surreal. Against a backdrop of towering boxes, scattered paperwork, and the quiet chaos of a stylist’s world, the editorial captures the unseen labor behind fashion’s polished façade.
At its core, this project is an invitation—to rethink access in fashion, to challenge the industry’s rigid structures, and to explore the boundless nature of creativity when imagination leads the way. Featuring photography by Ragazzi Nei Paraggi, set design by Jessica Zorzin and Beatrice Bonetto, with fashion by Giulia Lombardi who styles model Estefanía Thaler Op de Beec in looks by Miu Miu, Loewe, Marni and others, with make up by Clarissa Carbone.
