Photographer Elena Prosdocimo focuses their attention on Andre Breton’s surrealist literalist thought for this Schön! editorial. To do this, they turn to the revolutionary manifesto of 1924 which establishes fundamental rules and themes such as dreams and oneiric visions, in which the power of the imagination and the abolition of logic in favour of automatism are evident. This omniscient clarity creates an exaltation of power often experienced only in surreal experiences: landscapes in which the dreamlike dimension is amplified by the clear perception of dominating all space up to the horizon, the exaltation of power experienced only in dream experience.
