Berlin-born creative Melanie Kieback has built a world where fashion and film intertwine. “I’ve learned to walk through the world with a lens — sometimes literally, sometimes just in my mind,” she says, wearing CHANEL for her Schön! 49 story. A model, photographer, and storyteller, she captures things typically left unseen. “I’m focusing on being more behind the camera again and reconnecting with my art,” she shares. “One of my long-term projects is creating a book that brings together visuals and storytelling in a very personal way.”

This Schön! editorial represents an exploration of twins as geometric figures. Dino Golino approached them as a mirror system where two identical bodies create symmetry, repetition or contrast depending on their position. The goal was to treat the twins as a single visual unit, using clothing and posing to highlight the distance and proximity between them.
