westwing x meissen | a timeless porcelain collaboration

Westwing’s latest collaboration with Meissen brings together two icons of design and craftsmanship in a way that feels both timeless and fresh. On November 5th, the pair will launch a limited-edition collection that blends Meissen’s centuries-old porcelain expertise with Westwing’s modern design sensibilities, offering a series of personalised, hand-painted plates. Each plate, featuring letters from A to Z as well as the “&” symbol, reflects the union of classic craftsmanship and contemporary style.

At the heart of this collaboration is Meissen’s enduring reputation for quality and luxury. Founded in 1710, the brand has been synonymous with elegant, hand-painted porcelain for over 300 years. Westwing, on the other hand, launched in 2011, has quickly established itself as Europe’s leader in stylish living, curating design experiences across 12 countries. The collaboration feels like a natural extension of both brands’ ethos, combining Meissen’s heritage with Westwing’s forward-thinking design.

This partnership was recently celebrated at a pre-launch event held at the exclusive China Club in Berlin, hosted by Westwing. Guests, including the likes of CEO Andreas Hoerning, CMO Rik Strubel, and celebrities such as Stefanie Giesinger and William Fan, enjoyed a dinner served on exquisite Meissen porcelain. The trays featured in the collection were designed by both brands, each showcasing the alphabet in a tasteful nod to personalisation. The event’s theme, “Live beautiful,” captured the spirit of both brands, symbolising a future where traditional craftsmanship seamlessly blends with contemporary living.

The plates will be available from November 5th at Westwing.de with limited quantities.
