Monique L’Huillier showed dresses that, had they been in shades of white, would have passed as a well-rounded bridal collection: full of lace appliqués, liquidy silks, long sleeves and skirts, flat-ironed hair and theatre-going dark eyes and lips. The palette was dark, and sparkly, in deep greens, blues, purples and yellows, with sequins, sparkled tights, and exposed collar bones and shoulders. With F/W15, L’Huillier, who stepped out at the end in head to toe black, reinforced her committed to grown-up femininity and romanticism.
