Nestled on the peaks of the Pyrenees mountains lies one of the most charming and electric après-ski offerings in Europe. L’Abarset is at the epicentre of music and gastronomy ideally located next to the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, Grandvalira in Andorra. Blessed with over 300 days of sunny skies, Andorra is a quaint and picturesque country between Spain and France. At just a few hours drive from Barcelona, its blend of sport and leisure is unmissable.
From beginner-friendly to world championship level slopes, Grandvalira has over 200km of ski-able terrain, meaning you could go your whole trip without repeating a slope. After a crisp day of adventure, be sure to make your way to L’Abarset which is easy to find thanks to its iconic mountain-inspired wooden architecture. It is the epitome of luxurious après-ski and embodies Andorra’s undeniable spirit of fun and and fiesta. Its elevated cosy ambience is accompanied by an extensive menu of Spanish-influenced cuisine while its crowd is vibrant and international.
Music is at the heart of L’Abarset’s après-ski experience. The space transforms from day to night as they invite an impressive DJ lineup to takeover both the terrace and the stunning venue for their Peak of Après-Ski concept. During our visit, the local town was buzzing with excitement over L’Abarset’s upcoming evening of electronic music in collaboration with Brunch! Electronik. Headliners included Ukrainian DJ Miss Monique and German techno artist Jan Blomqvist.
The terrace was packed with an energized crowd followed by the after-party which took place inside the two-story venue. The variety of sounds and the shots-only bar were particular highlights creating a party atmosphere that was joyous, escapist and electrifying. It made for a uniquely memorable après-ski experience that should make every snow enthusiast’s must-visit list.
