Isaac is a fragmented narrative told through the voices of four characters and the observant perspective of Isaac, a young man captivated by scars and bodily marks. Structured episodically, each character reveals their personal story, weaving a vivid portrait of fictional figures born from imagination.
Born from a collaboration between director of photography Pablo Garrido Carreras, filmmaker Serjiososo, and fashion photographer Majo Válido, the film centers around portraits of imagined characters, presenting them as though they were individuals encountered in everyday life and social settings in Madrid. Shot in black and white on 16 mm film using a Bolex camera during the springtime, the work explores the intersection of portraiture, fashion, and fiction all while crafting characters and capturing their essence in a seamless blend of image and voice.
